UK manufacturing services.
Cable Tapes UK (CTUK) supplies tapes, laminates, fabrics and yarns to cable manufacturers. Orders can be supplied from Manchester or shipped directly from our manufacturing partners in China and Malaysia. In Manchester, we slit and spool tape, wind wire and apply mica tape to conductors. Our team also helps customers select materials and refine fire-resistant cable constructions.

We apply mica tape to conductors for fire-resistant cable manufacture, providing single- or double-layer taping to your agreed construction.
Our Manchester cell gives you access to dedicated taping capacity without adding machines, labour or floor space to your own factory.

We review mica grade, thickness, tape width, layers and overlap with your manufacturing and technical teams to identify where material use can be reduced. Proposed changes are assessed through production trials and finished-cable fire testing.
The aim is a lower material cost per metre of cable while meeting your required fire performance. Technical support is included at no extra cost.

Our partnership
with Pamica.
CTUK is the exclusive distributor for Pamica mica tape products in the UK, Northern Europe and the Middle East.
Our relationship began with discussions in 2005. Having recently celebrated 20 years of partnership, we continue to grow together into new markets. As Pamica’s original partner, we helped develop mica tapes for European fire-performance requirements.
Pamica manufactures the tape; CTUK provides regional supply, material selection and application support.
