Phlogopite
mica tape.
A cost-effective standard mica tape for fire-resistant cable production.
MICA PAPER / GLASS FABRIC / SILICONE RESINMaterial construction.
Phlogopite mica paper reinforced on one side with non-alkaline glass fabric and bonded with high-temperature resistant silicone resin. The mica forms a heat-resistant dielectric barrier; the glass reinforcement supports smooth, consistent wrapping.

Standards & application.
The mica layer provides fire-resistant electrical insulation. Temperature resistance: 750–900 °C. Finished-cable fire performance depends on the complete construction and testing.
Performance depends on the complete cable.
Fire-test performance depends on the tape grade, layers, overlap and complete cable construction. Confirm any change through finished-cable testing.
