Copper / PET
laminate tape.
Copper foil bonded to polyester film for individual-pair and overall electromagnetic screening.
COPPER FOIL / LAMINATING BOND / POLYESTER FILMMaterial construction.
Copper foil helps limit external electromagnetic interference and signal coupling between screened circuits. PET reinforces the thin foil and provides an insulating face. The laminate can screen individual pairs, groups or the complete cable core, with suitable overlap and electrical termination.

Stocked for flexible supply.
20/23 µm master-roll stock is held in Manchester for fast slitting and spooling, supporting smaller minimum order quantities.
15/23, 18/23 and other foil / film combinations can be sourced to customer requirements. Additional master-roll stock can be introduced to suit customer demand. Confirm the construction, winding format and slit width at quotation.

Selection and processing.
Choose foil and PET thicknesses to suit screening requirements, handling and cable build-up. 15/23 · 18/23 PET-face laminates and other foil / film combinations can be sourced to specification. Availability of each construction, colour and format is confirmed at quotation.
Screening depends on the complete cable.
Control tape tension and overlap to avoid gaps, wrinkles and foil tearing. Maintain conductive contact between the copper face and the specified drain wire, braid or termination; the PET face is insulating. Verify screen continuity and EMC performance on the finished cable.
